  • After school Club sign up October to December 2018

    Mon 16 Jul 2018

We are delighted to be offering a range of exciting and new after school clubs on Mondays to Thursdays. The range of activities is intended to provide the broadest learning experiences and opportunities for the children.

    Term 1: Storybox club

Using boxes (such as shoe boxes) children create a story in a box using crafts and materials.

    Term 2: Science club

Pupils will perform science experiments such as ‘popping rockets’, ‘erupting lava’ and make a variety of sticky putty…smile!

    Term 3: Cooking club

Based on healthy eating, food hygiene and the safe handling of cooking equipment, our cooking club offers the chance to create a variety of food items and snacks.

    Term 4: Photography club

Budding photographers can get out about around school capturing what they see. We then plan on holding an exhibition of the pupils’ snaps.

    Term 5: Craft club

In addition to painting and model making, children will create mini masterpieces using a variety of materials and resources.

    Term 6: Den building club

As part of our Forest Schools programme pupils will undertake a variety of ‘wildness’ style activities such as den building, camp fire building, searching for minibeasts and using the mud kitchen.

Additionally, we recognise picking up at 4:30pm can be tricky if parents/carers are working; as such we are extending the clubs to 5:00pm to support you.

The school will also be holding ‘Movie Nights’, details to follow.

The cost will be £4.00 per session, or £3.50 for siblings and all sessions are to be paid termly in advance. Ad hoc drop in sessions are available for £4.50 but must to be paid for on the day.

Please see the office for a sign up form!
