School Closure Procedure
Dear Parents/Carers
When forecasts predict inclement/severe weather, please do keep an eye/ear on our media outlets - school website (www.alexanderfirst.co.uk), RBWM website (www.rbwm.gov.uk), Heart Thames Valley (102.9 and 97.0) and BBC Radio Berkshire (95.4 fm, 94.6 fm, 104.1 fm, 104.4 fm) for any further updates. We aim to inform you as soon as we are able if the school will need to be closed - via text message if possible.
Much as we will endeavour to stay open, should the need to close the school arise during the school day, we shall contact parents to inform you about collection arrangements. Your child(ren) will need to be collected as soon as possible after this notification; please do ensure our office has the correct contact details and inform them if someone else is collecting your child(ren).
