What is a Brainbuilder?

The children will get a new Brainbuilder homework on a Friday and they will then have a week and a half to complete it before returning it on a Wednesday. In class, we have a gallery of work so that the children can share their ideas and efforts.

The children are given an opened ended task usually linked to the topic being covered in school. We may include an area of maths to practise as well.

Suggested activities are often given but the task can be interpreted in different ways.

Children can:

• draw
• take photos
• write
• use a word processor
• make a powerpoint
• send a video via Class Dojo
• make a model
• and more!
